Predictive Homeopathy
Homeopathie-weert has been doing for years from his home practice helping people. What makes the difference is that Herman Philipsen takes the lead in new developments around Homeopathy, by developing a web application that matches these new developments, the intention is to have multiple homeopaths make use of it.
How are we looking back on this project?
This company was the first customer of CularBytes 5 years ago, at the time a desktop application was created. Now 5 years later Herman has come back to convert the desktop application into a web application to make it easier to offer this to other homeopaths. Because CularBytes was working on the development of the CularBytes Framework, this was immediately used to save a lot of time. This means that the web application of Homeopathie-weert is the first application to use a live environment of the CularBytes Framework.
What did it take?
Homeopathie-weert felt the need in 2015 to develop a desktop application, this in order to better connect an already used software to the wishes of Herman Philipsen. A lot of attention has been paid to developing a desktop application that is as fast and flexible as possible. By using the latest techniques at the time, since May 2015 no adjustments have been made to solve problems, i.e.: a good piece of software.
In 2019 Herman became acquainted with new theoretical knowledge concerning the implementation of Homeopathic therapy. This again led to the request to adapt the desktop application, but also to the need to share it with other homeopaths, invoice automatically by e-mail with IDEAL payment link, etc. Because of this it was decided to develop a web application.
How did we achieve this?
In 2015, Microsoft techniques (WinForms, C#) were used to develop the desktop application, with a local database as storage (SQL).
Since the beginning of 2019, CularBytes has been working on the CularBytes Framework, and when this request came in from Homeopathie-weert, it was used immediately. For Homeopathie-weer a new module has been developed in the Framework to specifically develop functionalities that are not yet needed elsewhere in the system, this mainly comes down to conducting a consultation. Functionalities such as storing patient data, hours of registration and invoicing were already developed and thus activated for Homeopathic Weathering.
In case of sufficient interest from the market, the functionalities from the portal will be reused in a separate web application that is specifically intended for Homeopaths. Each homeopath will have his own environment to keep track of patient data.

Due to budget constraints, the Portal is now used as a management application for Homeopathy only. Eventually a Web App will be developed so that multiple homeopaths can make use of the above functionalities and where the Portal will serve as a management application for all homeopaths.
